Mozart's LE NOZZE DI FIGARO (MARRIAGE OF FIGARO) is a continuation of the story line of Rossini's THE BARBER OF SEVILLE. At the end of BARBER, Rosina and Count Almaviva are wed. In THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO, their relationship has fallen apart. The Count is unfaithful and Rosina has a secret lover of her own. Figaro and Susanna, Rosina's pretty maid, want to marry but they need permission from the Count who would like Susanna for himself. How will this end?
The Miramar Cultural Center / ArtsPark was created to celebrate creativity and diversity within the city. This landmark is a vibrant, urban destination located in the heart of the Miramar Town Center, situated adjacent to our City Hall. Centrally located, the Center is visible and accessible from Red Road, Miramar Boulevard, and Hiatus Road.
The Center consists of an 800-seat theater, two art galleries, banquet and facilities, a full-service kitchen, rehearsal halls, classrooms, a botanical garden, and more. Within walking distance, you will find a main library, shops, restaurants, and fitness center. It is the perfect place to see a live performance, enjoy a day of family fun, have a meal, attend a lecture, or stroll through the galleries.
Cultural arts remains the door that opens a child’s mind to a wealth of experiences. Nostalgia happens when you paint your first masterpiece or memorize your part in a play. Those memories will last a lifetime
