Synopsis
Grammy-winning violinist Hilary Hahn's probing interpretations and technical brilliance have made her one of the most sought-after artists of our time. Although only 32 years old, her international fame and recognition, including two Grammy Awards and the 2008 Classic FM / Gramophone Artist of the Year - are a testament to her talent and drive.
Hahn’s program will include, among other pieces, Bach’s Chaconne, Fauré’s Sonata No. 1, Corelli’s Sonata No. 4 in F Major as well as a selection of her famed In 27 Pieces: the Hilary Hahn Encores, a series of short-form compositions for violin created by 27 different composers which Hahn herself commissioned.
