Synopsis
Instructor: Fernando Calzadilla, MTC Resident Artist
Participants will be introduced to the theory and practice of the RasaBoxes exercises, a method for learning to embody eight basic emotional-energetic states (Rasas) and then explore ways of working with RasaBoxes to create performance. Rigorous daily training includes breath, voice, and movement.
Calzadilla is one of only four licensed RasaBoxes instructors in the United States. He holds a PhD in Performance Studies from New York University.
