This one-night-only tribute celebrates MANCINI’s career in an unprecedented multi-media production with music and film projections from the composer’s hit films and TV shows, including The Pink Panther, Days of Wine and Roses, Hatari, Charade, Breakfast at Tiffany's, "Peter Gunn", "Mr. Lucky" and many more.
The concert features an all-star roster of special guest artists, backed by the University of Miami Frost School of Music’s extraordinary HENRY MANCINI INSTITUTE ORCHESTRA. Guest soloists include international superstar JON SECADA; sultry vocalist and Grammy nominee MONICA MANCINI - daughter of the late MANCINI; the powerhouse vocalist heralded by the Huffington Post as “this generation’s First Lady of Jazz,” NICOLE HENRY; and the Miami debut of New York-based French singer CYRILLE AIMÉE, who recently took top prize in the first-ever Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Competition. Also on the bill are multi-Grammy winner saxophonist TOM SCOTT and Grammy-nominated jazz arranger and Dean of the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music Shelly Berg on piano.
