Performing at Entre' Acte Theatrix @ Crest Theatre at the Delray Center for the Arts at Old School Square (Jun 20 - Jun 30)

The cast and crew of Entr'Acte Theatrix' upcoming production of   Monty Python's Spamalot have come up with a novel way to promote their show. In true Pythonesque fashion, they have ventured out onto the streets of Delray Beach ...and beyond (wearing Spamalot tee-shirts), and have hidden away in various locations -   obvious and not so - several modern facsimiles of the objective of King Arthur's quest - yes... Grails!
Monty Python's Spamalot ('lovingly ripped off from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail') is a deliriously funny spectacle that puts a hilariously unique spin on the legendary tale of King Arthur, his Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail. The show features - among other things - lusty maidens, dancing divas, a flatulent Frenchman, and a killer rabbit. Anyone who finds one of Arthur's coveted cups will automatically win two free tickets to the Spamalot performance of their choice. The production will run at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts/Crest Theatre from June 20th - 30th. There are a number of these chalices to be chased - they could be anywhere. In fact, several steins have been stashed - pursuing patrons might find a beaker behind a bush; a vessel near a trestle; or a glass in the grass.

Entre' Acte Theatrix @ Crest Theatre at the Delray Center for the Arts at Old School Square

Entr’Acte Theatrix is a brand new off-shoot of the Palm Beach Principal Players, part of our natural growth. When the Players started 10 years ago, our target company member was in high school or college, interested in musical theater, and with limited opportunities to perform.  Now, in 2010, our company counts over 200 young people who have worked with us in over 16 productions, many of whom have gone on to professional careers or top educational programs.  However, we recognize that there is still a need for these more “seasoned” performers to have the opportunity to work with the best professionals we can attact, and allow them to begin their professional careers with a solid base of work on their resumes, as well as the network and contacts our productions will offer them.  This corp of “Emerging Professional Talent” will be the focus of the work that Entr’Acte does.
