Bassist extraordinaire Christian McBride has been one of the most important and omnipresent figures in the jazz world for 20 years…and he isn’t even 40 yet! His audience-friendly jazz trio is described as “one of the most intoxicating, least predictable bands on the scene today.” McBride is a three-time Grammy Award winner and co-director of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem. An in-demand performer, arranger, composer, and educator, he has worked with the best of the very best in jazz, R&B, and pop including Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Isaac Hayes, Natalie Cole, James Brown, Sting, Don Henley, Bruce Hornsby and Queen Latifah, to name a few.
