Infinite Abyss Productions

Infinite Abyss was founded by Jeff Holmes (Artistic Director) and Erynn Dalton (Producing Director) in 2010 with the goal of bringing provocative works to the stage and screen. Jeff and Erynn were troupe members of the innovative Sol Theatre Project in Fort Lauderdale for nearly a decade, where they learned the importance of creating process-oriented theatre, a technique that focuses heavily on the collaboration of director and actor to develop believable character relationships and circumstances. After Sol Theatre closed, it became Jeff and Erynn's goal to continue Sol's tradition of producing meaningful theatre using similar techniques that foster a strong partnership between the director and actors to create a memorable experience for all involved, including the audience. Infinite Abyss currently performs their shows at the intimate Empire Stage, which won the "Best Theater Space" from the New Times in 2011.

Infinite Abyss's first production, Stop Kiss by Diana Son, was directed by Jeff Holmes and produced in April 2010. It was an instant hit with audiences and critics alike and put Infinite Abyss on the map of promising up-and-coming theatre companies in South Florida. Their following show, Angel Eaters by Johnna Adams, was a Florida premiere and also met with critical praise. The Infinite Abyss line up for 2011 includes the tran-tastic musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the disturbing dark comedy The Pillowman and another Florida premiere, the incendiary Mitzi's Abortion by Elizabeth Heffron.

Jeff and Erynn are not only committed to producing innovative published works, but believe in the importance of producing new, unpublished original plays from local writers. Currently, the two partners are working on several projects, including an original play and a full-length horror feature, both of which they have penned themselves.
