Performing at Parker Playhouse (Mar 24 - Mar 24)
Back by popular demand, the music of Freddy Mercury and Queen lives on in the stunning two-hour concert extravaganza One Night of Queen at Parker Playhouse on Sunday, March 24 at 7 p.m. With spectacular lighting and special effects, Garry Mullen and The Works create an incredible note for note experience bringing Queen’s mega hits alive, including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions."
The Parker Playhouse curtain rose for the first time on February 6, 1967. One of Fort Lauderdale’s first venues, the neo-classical Playhouse, was built by Dr. Louis Parker and is managed now by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. This 1,167-seat fully equipped theater plays an important role in the community by serving as a vibrant part of the area. Parker Playhouse helps fuel economic development while also bringing the community together with performances, activities and educational programming.
