The vision of this facility was born over 20 years ago, and since then we have been working tirelessly to bring to Palm Beach Gardens a facility that will promote and strengthen our community's attraction to the performing arts. When it came time to build this facility, we began by asking not what we want, but what the community truly needed. Therefore, we always envisioned "keeping the lights on" for the community as it became the place to go and enjoy family friendly programming.
The Borland Center is named after our beloved friend Bruce E. Borland, who left us in an untimely way, when the plane he and professional golfer Payne Stewart were in crashed in 1999. It is meant to enrich the lives of people in our community. It is a gathering place where friends and families can connect and enjoy a wide variety of activities including family-friendly entertainment, children's programs, music and dance recitals, concerts, and theatrical productions.
