The M Ensemble Theatre Company

The M Ensemble Company has been a local cultural treasure in the Miami-Dade County community for 39 years. The M Ensemble Company is the oldest African American regional theatre company in the State of Florida and the oldest in Miami-Dade County. The Miami-Dade Cultural Affairs Council has classified the company as an emerging Major Cultural Institution. The company produces a four play season with plays reflecting the African American experience. The M Ensemble is committed to bringing quality productions with a collaborative partnership with local and national actors, directors, and playwrights for cultural excellence. Florida's oldest established African-American theater company offers musical, contemporary, classical and original plays; theater workshops for children and adults; and special vibrant presentations for Kwanzaa and Black Music Month.
