Building on eight successful years of creating imaginative and intelligent theater for South Florida families, we have rebranded and expanded The PlayGround Theatre into Miami Theater Center. Our new programming offerings allow us to engage an even wider range of audiences and artists.

MTC programs include MTCperformance, innovative theater, dance and music for all ages and abilities; MTCplayground, which offers camps and workshops for children at our venue and beyond; MTCtraining, learning opportunities for performers, theater technicians, arts administrators, and members of the public who want to explore and develop their creativity through movement, theater, improvisation, and more; and MTCfilm, independent, foreign, family and art films presented in partnership with O Cinema.
